In his teens, Alex Warren was homeless and had to sleep in his friends' cars. Today, he has 16 million followers on TikTok, creates Netflix series, and makes quirky YouTube videos. Music has been his guardian angel in difficult times. Warren discovered his passion for music through his father, who bought him an electric guitar at a young age and introduced him to Coldplay and Linkin Park, before passing away when Alex was just nine. Over a decade later, Warren channelled his tough childhood into a self-funded song ‘One more I love you’ (2021), catching the attention of major record labels. Hits like ‘Before you leave’ and ‘Carry you home’ took care of the rest. In live performances, the melancholy undertone of his songs is offset by plenty of humour, an attitude also reflected in the title of his latest tour: ‘Cheaper than therapy’.
